The perfect stop in Heritage Quay

Located in the heart of St. John’s, Island B-Hive Sports Bar is the perfect place to stop for a refreshing drink or a meal when spending the day in St. John’s. Literally a minute walk from the Heritage Quay cruise ship dock, it’s also a great meeting point and watching spot.

Since opening in 2006 the restaurant has built a reputation for serving excellent local dishes daily. If you are visiting Antigua as a tourist you can enjoy freshly prepared lunch specials daily including lobster, shrimp, seafood, roti’s, stewed chicken, saltfish with chop up and coconut dumplin, goat water and pepper pot to name but a few. Even if you are only visiting for the day, getting a taste of Antigua is easy at Island B-Hive. Aside from tasty local meals and a full bar, you can also indulge in gorgeous Häagan-Dazs ice creams, the perfect anti-dote to a hot day of shopping in St. John’s.

The restaurant and bar is open from 8.00 am until 11:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and the kitchen closes at 10 pm. Come and enjoy the monthly Zodiac party on the second Saturday of every month where if it’s YOUR birthday star sign you get to enjoy free cake and everyone can choose from that months food and drink specials.

For book worms, the 1st Thursday of every month is the Island B-Hive Book Club where like minded individuals get together to discuss the chosen book for the month.

There are events throughout the year such as Carnival when live music and DJs entertain the crowds both day and nights from the Heritage Quay band stand.

The bar is primarily known as a place to catch live sports including football, grand prix, tennis and other international sporting events. (So guys….remember you can nip in for a drink or three while the lady in your life indulges in some seriously good shopping).
