The SYCA is a popular event in the Caribbean winter season calendar. It was organized and run by Paul Deeth and the late Stan Pearson, who was a major part of the development of yacht racing in Antigua and around the world. The 2024 edition paid tribute to Stan Pearson, also known as “Stan the Man”.
The Superyacht Challenge Antigua (SYCA) is an annual invitational sailing regatta for superyachts over 30 meters:

- Where:Â The races take place along the south coast of Antigua, starting and finishing at the entrance to the English Harbour
